Upcoming Acitivities

Hello Faithful South Bay Bike Advocates! (trying to borrow some of Stan Lees hype- style), This May is a particularly exciting month for South Bay cyclists!  May 16th - 20th is Los Angeles County's bike to work week, Cycle Saturday is on May 14th and we're getting ready to release a draft of our master plan and could use some volunteers to help us build support! Watch for our announcements on the next round of community workshops featuring our master plan which will be at the end of June. Bike-to-Work Happy Hour - May 19th To celebrate this important bike season, SBBC is going to holding a [no host] happy hour at Rock & Brews at 143 Main Street in El Segundo on Bike to Work Day, Thursday May 19th from 5:00pm-8:00pm.  So if you're feeling parched from pedaling to and from work that day, please stop by and get some free bike swag while you're there!  This event will take the place of our usual monthly meeting.  RVSP here May...

Bike to Work Week – Great Success and Great Fun!

The South Bay Bike to Work Challenge started out rainy - an unexpected challenge for southern California riders. But by the end of the week, we were back to prime riding weather. The riders we talked to had a great time - some even riding through the Ballona Wetlands to see the mustard flowers in bloom! We hope to see even more riders next year!
