Action Alert: New Manhattan Beach Mobility Plan Deletes Bikeway Implementation Specifics

The safety of cyclists in the South Bay needs your help! Please act now to preserve the progress that community members like you have worked toward for the last 7 years of the SBBC.  The City of Manhattan Beach spent about 3 years and $150,000 towards a mobility plan aimed at moving all methods of transportation forward. The SBBC applauds the idea of a holistic approach to transportation, however the latest version has a critical flaw-- it deletes actual streets and specific phases for new bikeways that were in the previous version. In addition, all maps drawn to show new planned BIKEWAYS have been DELETED.
