Mark your calendars and save the date of Saturday, April 16 so that you can join us at the 19th Annual Earth Day Celebration and Concert put on by VOICE at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach.

We’ll kick of the day celebrating clean, green zero emission bicycle transportation with a family friendly, casual paced, one-mile long Bicycle Ride to the park.  This police motorcycle-escorted ride last year was a huge hit with everyone who participated, so be sure to join us this year.

For more information on the parade and to download a waiver CLICK HERE.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help with the bicycle valet and to help at our outreach and information table. The work is fun and easy and it’s a great chance to meet your fellow South Bay bicycle lovers and enthusiasts.  Enjoy the free concert music and the great community spirit and help us spread the word about the South Bay Bicycle Master Plan and the South Bay Bicycle Coalition’s work.

Even if you’ve got no time to spare for us, please ride your bike to this year’s Earth Day and drop it off at our free bike valet.  We’ll be happy to keep an eye on it for you.
